Everything about List Of American Football Stadiums By Capacity totally explainedThe following is an incomplete list of current American football stadiums. They are ordered by their seating capacity, that's the maximum number of spectators that the stadium can accommodate. The list contains the home stadiums of all 32 professional teams playing in the NFL as well as the largest stadiums used by College football teams in the NCAA. The United States is unique in that twenty of its twenty-one largest stadia are home to a college team, not a professional one.
Not included are several large stadiums used by teams in NFL Europa, as these were all built for and used mainly for association football. Currently all football stadiums with a capacity of 40,000 or more are included. Also not included is the Rogers Centre, which houses the International Bowl and is the secondary home stadium of the Buffalo Bills as well as the primary home of Canadian football's Toronto Argonauts. That stadium ranges from 46,000 to 54,000 in capacity, depending on configuration. The Rogers Centre isn't listed here because it's located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, not in the United States.
